It was recently revealed that the five-time Academy Award nominated actress is reportedly in talks to star in fashion designer Tom Ford's thriller film "Nocturnal Animals" and what is so intriguing about the situation is how aggressively she pursed this role. 

 

Some people would think with her being a two-time celebrated Golden Globe winning actress she would wait for acting offers to come to her. However, according to some entertainment observers and the online entertainment magazine 'Variety' the 'Big Eyes' star upon learning that the script was 'on the market' was very assertive in her pursuit of the female lead role and her pursuit might have resulted in her securing the part (Variety - March 25).

However, instead of relaxing she went 'hunting' for the next 'meaty' role that could help push her acting career to potentially even greater heights and may have found the script that will bring her the next award for her trophy case, the 'Oscar'. 

 

The desire to be great and act in the most challenging and interesting roles has no 'off' switch and there is no better example of the hunger and determination that one must posses to be a great actress than that shown by Amy Adams' pursuit of the lead role in the film "Nocturnal Animals".
