There are some actors in Hollywood who are working so hard just to get by, so have to take on pretty much any and every acting role they get offered, no matter what they actually think of the project. Then there are those in Hollywood who have become so big and successful that they get to pretty much pick and choose the new movie roles they want, rejecting the ones that they do not like so much.

Which brings us to the talented Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield, who has become such a popular and in demand actor, that he has that luxury of getting to decide which acting projects he agrees to take on next. Andrew has been talking about his future in the acting industry, revealing exactly what it is that he looks for when deciding whether to agree to star in a new movie or not.
Garfield was chatting with Time Out London magazine, when he revealed, "I'm looking for things that are challenging and give something meaningful to the audience. If I can look at the majority of things I've done and say that's the case, that makes me happy because I know that my heart's in every one of them."

He added, "What I'm looking for when I step into the cinema is a reminder of what's important and what's meaningful in life. Human life is so disposable now. This is a really sick time in Western civilisation, so I'm looking to be part of feeding an audience and a culture with something that thinks to bring us back together."
Andrew Garfield will next appear on the big screen in the new movie Breathe, which is due for release on October 13 in the US and on October 27 in the UK.
