We have seen a lot of actors trying their hand at directing over the years and, while some of these stars have failed to impress with their directing skills, there have been others who have excelled. Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has clearly caught the directing bug, taking to the directors chair once again, with the new movie project Unbroken, which has now released its new trailer.
While some of you will already be familiar with the story behind Unbroken, there are others who will not. Unbroken focuses on the life of one Louis Zamperini, who was a talented Olympic runner before the Second World War. While fighting in WOrld War II, Louis was captured by the Japanese forces and taken prisoner. This new Unbroken trailer shows Zamperini heading to the POW camp.
Angelina Jolie has directed Unbroken, based on the screenplay that was adapted for the big screen from the book by Laura Hillenbrand, titled Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. Angelina has also managed to put a strong cast together, including the likes of Garrett Hedlund, Jai Courtney, Finn Wittrock, Domhnall Gleeson, and Jack O'Connel, as Louis Zamperini.
Unbroken will open in the US on December 25, before then hitting the big screen a day later in the US, December 26. With the movie not coming out until Christmas, we still have quite a few weeks to wait, so why not take a look at the new Unbroken trailer, below, and get a good idea of what to expect from the movie before it hits the big screen.
