Anna Kendrick is one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood because of her outstanding acting range which she admits to have been developing since her childhood as a "very dramatic" child with her brother (The Irish Examiner - April 25).

Interestingly, her popularity with filmmakers, current and future and her acting colleagues might also be a product of lessons learned while filming with Hollywood superstar Meryl Streep.
In an interview published by the Irish Examiner she revealed that she learned why Meryl Streep was so popular on film sets by watching how she interacted with other cast members. She recounted how during her filming of the movie "Into the Woods" one of the things she remembered most was how "kind and warm a person" Meryl Streep was on set with cast members and instead of being distant and unapproachable she was the exact opposite as she enjoyed hanging out and talking with her fellow actors (The Irish Examiner - April 25).

This observation impressed some entertainment observers as it showed her as a star actress willing and wanting to learn how the great actors conduct themselves for future reference for herself. Sometimes actors upon experiencing success will think or act as if they know 'everything' or become unpopular with filmmakers because of how they conduct themselves on set but Anna Kendrick's comment suggest that she is much different.
Her appreciation for how the great Meryl Streep conducted herself has some insiders believing that is how she likely conducted herself on the set of "Pitch Perfect 2" and is part of the reason she is such an in-demand actress for filmmakers and so beloved by some of her "Pitch Perfect 2" cast members and fellow actors such as John Krasinski.
Anna Kendrick is a "drama queen" who seems to understand what truly makes an actor appreciated and popular with their fellow actors on a film set and is likely one more reason that she is so beloved by her colleagues and desired by filmmakers.
