Anna Paquin is returning to HBO as the star and executive producers fo the HBO mini-series "Madame X" and the announcement attracted the attention of several entertainment observers and filmmakers who believe her decision to move behind the camera stems from her displeasure of being 'cut' from so many scenes in the movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

The Golden Globe winning actress has not filmed any projects since the end of "True Blood" but she likely had her choice of projects to come back to after taking the time to focus on being a Mom to her two-years-old twins with husband and past "True Blood" co-star Stephen Moyer.
Thus it was a surprise to some entertainment observers when the news was released that she would be returning to HBO to film the tv mini-series "Madame X" about "a Victorian woman who rose from poverty in New York City to become a successful midwife until insiders realized that she was not only going to star in the project but also be its executive producer (Daily Mail - March 7).

The project provides her a great opportunity to develop her film producing skills so that she will be ready whenever she decides to make the move to producing a big screen project in the future.
Her not being attached to any big screen movie projects despite her exceptional reputation as an actress suggests that she is going to ensure in her future projects that her acting performances do not end up on the cutting room floor because she will be both the producer and the star.
Anna Paquin has not disclosed her feelings about her limited appearance in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" but sometimes silence can be deafening and her recent decision to act and produce "Madame X" is making it loud and clear to some entertainment observers about her feelings about the issue and what steps she has taken to prevent a reoccurrence.
