A year ago, Anthony Joshua was a name that not many people would have known but his achievements in the past twelve months have been so impressive that he is now one of Britain’s biggest hopes for an Olympic medal. The super heavyweight boxer finished runner up in the world championships last year and he has revealed that, while he is all about family at heart, he cannot be a mummy’s boy.

Joshua explained, "I'm a boxer, I can't be no mummy's boy! But you've got to look after your mum, I've got a lot of love for my mum. And regardless of what happens, my family will never turn their back on me. If your parents stick by you and make you understand how important certain things are, as you get older you'll look back and think 'you know what, I'm thankful for my mum and my dad sticking by me.'"
Anthony Joshua has the potential to be one of the best British heavyweight boxers of all time. His use of the jab is perfect to set him up for his next punch and his power is up there with the best of them. He has a great chance of getting into the medals at the London 2012 Olympics and after that, he has the ability to go all the way to the top. Good luck Anthony Joshua.
