Music superstar Ariana Grande is one of the many stars to have started out on Nickelodeon, before then going on to take the world by storm, becoming one of the biggest and best names on the music scene. However, it has been claimed that Ariana can be a bit of a diva from time to time, which has resulted in the singer being involved in a few controversies.
Well, there have been a number of reports recently, which have suggested that Ariana Grande is back to her diva ways and has been playing up on the set of Hairspray Live!, with some people even suggesting she could be axed from the show. However, it seems that these rumours are way off the mark, with Ariana actually being praised for her work ethic.
The writer of the show, Harvey Fierstein, was talking to Page Six about Ariana Grande, when he told them "Ariana is here working her tail off. She is a total team player. She is old school, singing and dancing. Her only concern is being part of the Hairspray team. If that’s diva, then give me more of that!"
Meanwhile, a supposed source close to the project added, "We didn’t know what to expect, but she has been on time to the minute The work she’s done has been meticulous. She is singing the s**t out of the score. She said, ‘I will not leave until I am done.’ I think she will have a breakthrough people aren’t expecting in three weeks."
Hairspray Live! is set to air on NBC on December 7.
