While most of the talk surrounding the Modern Family cast tends to focus on Sofia Vergara or Sarah Hyland, it is the younger actress from the show who has been making the headlines recently. 17-year-old actress Ariel Winter revealed how she decided to have a breast reduction earlier in the year, with the talented young star now admitting that the surgery has changed her life for the better, giving her much more confidence than she has ever had before.
During a recent interview with E! News, Winter explained, "It's an amazing feeling to feel confident in myself and in my own skin, wearing what I wanted, putting on a bikini and not feeling like I was going to walk around and everyone was going to be staring being like, 'Are you serious?'"
She then went on to add, "I feel like a new person. I'm able to finally be happy. My fans are always so honest with me. Why not be honest with them? I thought it would help start a conversation." It has certainly done that, also making Ariel Winter a positive role model to girls around the world.
As far as her acting career is concerned, as well as continuing in her role as Alex Dunphy in the hit television series Modern Family, the actress also continues to voice the character Sofia in the hit animated series Sofia the First.
