When it comes to having a talented child who goes on to make a name for themselves in the entertainment industry, there are often times when we discover that there is also a younger sibling who is also very talented and tries to follow in their siblings footsteps. That was certainly the case with the Simpson family.

Jessica Simpson became a huge global star with her acting projects on the big screen, along with her successful singing career along the way and, it was not long before her younger sibling Ashlee Simpson decided to follow in her sisters footsteps. Ashlee has worked on plenty of projects on both the big screen and small screen, as well as proving that she is also a talented singer.
Now it seems that Ashlee Simpson is preparing to follow in Jessica Simpson's footsteps once again. Last weekend we witnessed Jessica Simpson tie the knot to the retired NFL tight end Eric Johnson in Santa Barbara and, in just a few weeks time, we will see Ashlee Simpson walking down the aisle of her own wedding.

Back in July 2013, it was revealed that Ashlee Simpson was in a relationship with Evan Ross, the son of the legendary singer Diana Ross. In January 2014 it was announced that the couple has become engaged and, in August 2014 we will see Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross get married. We look forward to seeing how the wedding compares to that of Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.
