It has not been long since Ashlee Simpson took to her official Twitter account to announce to her fans, followers and the world that she and her boyfriend Evan Ross have got engaged. There were a lot of people who seemed a little surprised by the news but, while there were a small few criticising the decision, it seems that those that actually matter are happy about the news.
Ashlee Simpson is getting married
Rhonda Ross, who is the eldest of Diana Ross's five children at the age of 41, is the half-sister of Evan Ross and she has come out to give Ashlee Simpson her blessing and welcome her to the family. It seems that Rhonda and Ashlee managed to bond over the Christmas holidays, as the two families came together to celebrate the festive season.
Rhonda was chatting to The Post, when she explained, "I’m really excited for the both of them. I’m really happy to have her join the family. We just spent Christmas with Ashlee and her son, Bronx. Ashlee’s son is the same age as my son, so they play together." Sounds like it is happy families all round to us.

While Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross are enjoying their engagement to one another, Rhonda Ross is busy focussing her efforts on her music career. Rhonda has revealed that she has been working on a new album for a little while now and that she is almost ready for it to be released. The new Rhonda Ross album will be a mix of Jazz, neo-soul and funk. Nice!
