French Hollywood movie star Audrey Tautou is one of the most attractive women to grace the movie screens but it seems that she has had trouble attracting the opposite sex. Audrey says that most of the men that she meets find her a bit of a challenge, due to her strong character.
Audrey Tautou has not made a Hollywood movie since 2006
Tautou told Metro, "All the boys that I have known say that I can be a pain. I have a very strong character and just because I'm a woman don't mean I'm going to do what the man wants. It's not easy or common to find very interesting and central female characters; I try to get those parts though because I'm not interested in playing a part where she serves soup to the guy."
Audrey Tautou also spoke about her Hollywood career, admitting that she is in no hurry to make the permanent move to the USA. Audrey says that the lack of good roles in Hollywood is the main reason that she has not made a movie since the 2006 film The Da Vinci Code.

Tautou added, "A Hollywood career is a very special choice of living because you are far from everybody, far from your friends. This would not be a good balance for me ... to have a career there would be too much of a sacrifice. They also have really wonderful actresses there but not many wonderful parts, it would be difficult for me to find something else."
While she is not making movies in Hollywood at the moment, Audrey Tautou continues to ply her trade in France, where she recently starred in the movie Mood Indigo.
