Mattel have confirmed that they are looking at making the Hover Board which became famous in the movie Back to the Future 2. People have been wanting their very own Hover Board, ever since the film was released back in 1989 and now they will get their chance. The limited edition Hover Board will be available for pre order from March 1 until March 20, with a price to be confirmed.
Mattel released a statement which read, "Because this is such a high-cost item, there will be a minimum number of orders required to go into production. If we don't receive the minimum orders, we won't go into production and customers will not be charged. The price will be announced later this month."
The Back to the Future 2 Hover Board is set to be extremely movie accurate and even has a hole at the front, where Marty McFly pulled off the handle bars that the little girl originally had. It is also claimed that the Back to the Future 2 Hover Board will be able to glide along almost any surface but remember, those boards don’t work on water, unless you got power!
