It seems that the career of singer Beyonce just continues to keep on going from strength to strength, with the global superstar once again topping the list of the Forbes highest earning women in the music industry today. Topping the list makes it two years in a row for Beyonce, who was also top of the money list last year.

Beyonce is number 1
In 2013, Beyonce was top of the Forbes highest earning women in music list, managing to rack up a very impressive $53m for the year. While that is a very big amount of money for one person to earn in a year, Beyonce has gone and eclipsed it this year, by making $115m for 2014, more than double what she made in 2013.
As for where all this money came from, the Forbes report says, "Beyonce played 95 shows during our scoring period, bringing in an average $2.4 million per city. She added endorsement deals from the likes of H&M and Pepsi -- plus her self-titled surprise album, which hit iTunes in December 2013 and quickly became one of the year's top sellers -- to send her income into nine-figure territory."

Beyonce made $115m
While Beyonce was taking home an astonishing $115m, the rest of the list saw Taylor Swift in second place, managing to bank $64m, with Pink at number three, taking home $52m. Meanwhile, Rihanna was at number four on the list, making $48m, with Katy Perry rounding off the top five, with a very tasty $40m. That is quite a lot of money for only five women in the music industry to make!
What on Earth is she doing here?
