When Blake Lively burst on to the scene in the hit television series Gossip Girl, there were high hopes for this young, beautiful and talented actress but, while her acting career has not quite hit the heights that many people expected, she has enjoyed a very happy personal life of late. Blake met Ryan Reynolds on the set of the Green Lantern movie and it was not long before the couple started dating, before finally getting married, and Blake has now opened up about life with her Hollywood hunk husband.

Lively features in the September issue of Marie Claire, where she explained, "We’ve never gone a week without seeing each other. There’s no major decision that I make without him. The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He’s my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing.”
Since her hit show Gossip Girl came to an end, we have seen very little of Blake Lively on the acting scene, as she has instead decided to focus on some other areas that interest her a lot. Blake has worked hard on her very own lifestyle website Preserve, which has received rather mixed reviews so far.

Lively added, "I went straight from high school to Gossip Girl, and both were very structured, scheduled environments, so I never had freedom to explore and carve my own path. When I finished my show, I wanted to take a break from acting and try what I would have tried if I hadn’t acted, and that was this."
As far as her acting career is concerned, we will see Blake Lively back on the big screen in the movie The Age of Adaline, which will open next year. We cannot wait!
