As many of you may well know, some of us here are pretty big comic book fans, so we have been loving the past few years, with the amount of comic book movies and television shows that have been brought our way. What we have really been enjoying, is how Warner Bros. and DC have been bringing together their small screen projects with some of our favourite characters being adapted for television.
Meanwhile, what some of you might not know, is that we are also very big fans of the classic television series Ally McBeal, which in turn makes is big fans of the actress Calista Flockhart. So, when it was announced that we were going to get a new Supergirl television series on CBS and that Calista Flockhart would have a role in the show, you can imagine just how excited we were about it.
We are now well into the first season of this new Supergirl series and we have to admit that we have loved the performances of Calista Flockhart in her role as Cat Grant, even if we are being a little bit biased. We felt that Supergirl took a little while to really get going but it has got stronger with every episode and it looks like it is only going to get even bigger and better.
For those of you who have not been keeping up to date with the DC television universe, we are going to get a crossover episode which will see Grant Gustin making a guest appearance on Supergirl as Barry Allen aka The Flash. How awesome is that going to be?
