You cannot help but feel sorry for young actors and actresses who have spent many years working hard at their graft, slowly working their way up the ladder, only to find they have missed out on a role to a model. More and more models are moving into the movie industry, making it even more difficult for people already working hard.
The latest model to be linked to an acting career in Hollywood, is Cara Delevingne, who has supposedly signed up to star in a new movie about Amanda Knox. While she will star in the film, it has been claimed that she will not play the lead role.
The Daily Mirror quotes a supposed source as saying, "It doesn't look like Cara will be playing 'Foxy Knoxy' but she will have a major role, as the director wants to focus on events surrounding the trial and the people whose lives have been affected by it."
The insider added, "Getting Cara is a real coup for the film but is also brilliant for her career. It proves she's an in-demand actress and will help to boost her career in the US. She has been thinking about relocating there and, with big film offers coming in, it's looking likely movies will soon be Cara's main focus."
Cara Delevingne will star with Daniel Bruhl and Colin Firth in the film.
