It was not too long ago that it was announced that Carey Mulligan has been cast to play the lead role in the planned new movie An Uncivil War, with the project moving into pre-production and expected to begin shooting some time later in the year. With that said though, it has been some months now since it was announced that An Uncivil War had moved into pre-production and we are still waiting for shooting to begin.
As for what we can expect to see from the new project, when it does finally manage to hit the big screen, An Uncivil War is set to focus on the renowned journalist and feminist crusader, Gloria Steinem, following the events that happened in her life and her career which led to her becoming one of the most well known feminists in the world.
As for the cast of An Uncivil War, apart from having Carey Mulligan attached to play the role of Gloria Steinem, there has not been any other news on which other stars we are likely to see appearing in the film. Meanwhile, Dee Rees is on directing duties for An Uncivil War, from a script that she worked on with David Kukoff. There is no word of a release date yet but we will keep you posted.
