Channing Tatum has a new interview with GQ as the ‘movie star of the year’, and among other topics, he also talks about getting into shape for his new movie ‘White House Down’.

Channing reportedly skips lunch to go work out with his trainer [which he purportedly does twice a day], saying, “We have a trailer we go in and do meatheadish things.” He continues about the workout, saying, "It was good, it was good. Deadlifted 425."
He also talks about how hard he works, which many talent agents and industry insiders call almost ‘sadistically insane’. However, he says that it’s all because of advice he’s received from other actors, saying, "Big actors have told me to get it while the getting is good. Grind it." When asked about who those ‘big actors’ were, he replies, “Ahhh, I'm not gonna drop names," he says. "You know, very successful, smart actors. And they were like: 'Grind it. If you love it, grind it.' I did. They said: 'And a lot of people who didn't grind it, it's not that they're not in a good place, but I'm in a better place.' "
