While there was once a time when it looked like the Gambit movie was heading for a roadblock, with Channing Tatum reported to be on the verge of pulling out of the project, while director Rupert Wyatt did have to leave due to scheduling conflicts, it is all stations go, as the movie edges ever nearer to beginning production. Now, producer and writer Simon Kinberg has been talking about the Gambit film and Simon has teased what to expect from the project.

Kinberg was chatting to Collider, when he explained to them, "I mean Deadpool obviously has a very different, almost antithetical tone to the mainline X-Men movies."
He added, "The X-Men movies are dramatic and almost operatic, whereas Deadpool is irreverent and hysterical and sort of a dirty R-rated comedy in many ways. And Gambit will have its own different flavor and tone to it, will be more of like a heist movie and a sexy thriller in a way." Definitely sounds like it will be an interesting movie.

As well as starring Channing Tatum in the lead role of Remy LeBeau, the Gambit movie is also set to star Lea Seydoux in the female lead, which is expected to be Bella Donna Boudreaux, The Gambit film is going to get directed by Doug Liman, based on a screenplay developed by Scott Zetumer, with the movie due to hit the big screen on October 7, 2016 in both the US and the UK. We are really looking forward to this one.
