Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan have been down similar paths – the difference is that Sheen has managed to get his life back on track whereas Lohan is continuing to spiral out of control.
Charlie Sheen wants to help Lindsay Lohan
Sheen and Lohan met while filming Scary Movie 4, and he has been helping her out whenever he gets the chance. However, she doesn’t seem keen on taking his advice as she continues to party away and get in even more trouble with the law. The incident where he lent her money to rent a beautiful gown for the AMFAR gala ended up being a disaster, as Lohan returned the dress in tatters.
Despite all this, Sheen is not willing to give up on her. He tells TMZ, “I have a kinship with somebody who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not. She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey." He adds that he won’t give up on her, saying, “If she listens, she'll win. If she doesn't, that's on her."
Lindsay Lohan is currently in even more legal trouble
Lohan is currently embroiled in another legal battle as she faces charges for lying to police about driving her crashed Porsche. Her lawyer is also facing questions and concerns about his ability to defend Lohan adequately after he tried filing motions that were not valid in California. In the end, we’ll have to see if Lindsay manages to get out of yet another legal battle, or if she really does have to face the consequences this time.
