Charlize Theron had been at the center of attention for completely different reasons lately. On the one end, she has been rumored to be flirting/dating with Oscar host and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. On the other end, she has just signed on to 'Ladies Night', a comedy that may end up being directed by The Wonder Years' Fred Savage.

Both bits of news put her on different ends of the entertainment news spectrum, with one falling squarely into gossip and the other falling into legitimate news. On the gossip spectrum, Gossip Cop has already refuted the claims that anything's going on with Charlize and Seth. They say that a source close to MacFarlane tells them that the rumors are not true, and Seth and Charlize were just hanging out because she's set to appear in his next film, 'A Million Ways to Die In The West."
In terms of the film news, Theron is attached to star in the lead for 'Ladies Night', as a woman who "when confronted with her longtime boyfriend’s inability to commit, decides to have one last night on the town with her girlfriends before uprooting her life and moving to New York.” The film is being pitched as being similar in tone to Bridesmaids, and Fred Savage is currently in talks to direct.

Theron currently has a busy slate ahead of her, as she also just recently wrapped production on Mad Max: Fury Road, and also has the sequels to Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus in pre-production.
