There are still many music fans around the world today who love to criticise the television series The X Factor, with a lot of people claiming that the show does not deliver any real music talent to the music industry. However, there have been a number of music acts to come from The X Factor over the years, with some of them even heading over to the US to prove themselves on the biggest possible music platform.

One for X Factor contestant, who headed over to the US and has been working over there for the past few years now, is the beautiful and talented singer Cher Lloyd. It was recently revealed that Cher has been dropped by her record label Epic Records, following the disappointing performance of her second album Sorry I'm Late despite the fans eager for its release.
Fortunately though, since Cher Lloyd has such a strong and loyal fan base, it did not take long for her to get snapped up, with Universal Music signing her up again. While all that has been going on though, Cher has been focusing on her music and has been working in the studio on some new songs.

A supposed insider recently explained, "Cher's looking forward to a fresh start with some exciting new opportunities. She's been hard at work on material already and wants to put the frustrations of 2014 behind her."
