After years of rumours and waiting, Marvel are finally bringing us a Doctor Strange movie and it looks like things are actually moving quite smoothly with the project at the moment. There have been plenty of rumours surrounding the Doctor Strange film for quite some time now but it seems that we are finally beginning to get some solid information about the project.
Benedict Cumberbatch will play Doctor Strange
We already know that the hugely talented and very popular actor Benedict Cumberbatch will play the lead role of Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange, in the movie and now it looks like we have our main villain for the film. It has been reported that 12 Years a Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor has been in talks about a possible role in Doctor Strange and is set to sign on to play the lead villain.
This has led to fans scrambling to give their opinions on which Doctor Strange villain Chiwetel Ejiofor will play, with most fans suggesting that he will play either Baron Mordo or The Ancient One. However, there have also been recent rumours that Daniel Bruhl is being eyed for the role of Baron Mordo, which has led many fans to believe that this must mean Chiwetel is playing The Ancient One.

With that said, there has been no official word about Chiwetel Ejiofor being cast in the Doctor Strange movie, although it is expected that Marvel will be making a big announcement in the coming weeks. Doctor Strange will begin shooting later in the year, with the movie set to open on October 28, 2016 in the UK and November 4, 2016 in the UK.
