Comic book movie fans are being heavily treated this year, with Marvel's Iron Man 3 being released in a few weeks, then the DC Superman movie Man of Steel being after that, before we get to then see Chris Hemsworth back in Thor: The Dark World.

As we get closer to the release of the Thor sequel, we are bound to get plenty of promotional material and, now, we have been given a brand new poster of Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Thor: The Dark World. While the poster does not really tell us anything about the movie, it is just great to see the first poster for the upcoming film.
As well as starring Chris Hemsworth, Thor: The Dark World also stars Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Idris Elba, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins. Thor: The Dark World has been directed by Alan Taylor and is set to hit the big screen in the UK on October 30, before then being released in the US on November 8.
