Over the course of the past few weeks we have heard a lot of interesting news coming from the Marvel comics, such as there being the first black Captain America, as well as their being a new female Thor. This has stirred up a lot of interest with comic book fans and also left us wondering how it will affect the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Chris Hemsworth plays Thor in the Marvel movies
Well, there has already been suggestions that we could see Anthony Mackie taking over from Chris Evans as Captain America in the future, but what will happen with Thor. Well, actor Chris Hemsworth currently plays the role of Thor in the Marvel movies and he has admitted that he could be tempted to play a female version of the character.
Hemsworth was being interviewed by the guys over at Collider, when he joked, "Sure, yeah yeah, it could be my biggest challenge yet. Maybe an Oscar award nomination I recon." As for when he will begin shooting Thor 3, he added, "I got a lot of time yeah, I don't think it's just yet Thor 3, I think it's a ways away."

Meanwhile, we will next see Chris Hemsworth in his role as Thor for the Marvel movie sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will see him team up with many of the original members of The Avengers, along with some new cast members. Avengers: Age of Ultron is once again being directed by Joss Whedon and is set to hit the big screen on April 24, 2015 in the UK, before then opening on May 1, 2015 in the US.
