Fresh off the Boat actress Constance Wu has become a very popular actress indeed, in recent years, thanks to the success of the very funny television series, but there have been some occasions when the actress has come in for some criticism for being too outspoken. One such time was when Constance hit out at Hollywood superstar Matt Damon starring in the movie The Great Wall, insisting that an Asian star should have been cast in the role, but she has stated that she will never change who she is and will always speak her mind.

Wu was recently talking to the guys over at Teen Vogue, when she explained to them, "Because of my TV show, I suddenly have increased visibility. So the media's amplification of my voice is quite new. But my voice and my passions are the same as they have always been since I was a teenager. I don't fear being outspoken."
She then went on to add, "The only thing I fear is losing my sense of integrity, or losing sight of the values on which I guide my life. People forget that they don't have access to my personal history because I don't post much on social media. Part of me still thinks the internet exists mostly for funny animal videos!"

Following the success of Fresh Off the Boat, Constance Wu has become a very in demand actress, with a number of new movies coming out over the coming years. The one which we are most looking forward to seeing is the film Crazy Rich Asians, which will see the actress starring in the lead role. Exciting times.
