Alex Pettyfer is likely one of the most frustrated actors in Hollywood, especially if he is reading the various announcements of actors either being chosen for lead roles in new projects or looking at the upcoming summer releases including the film Magic Mike XXL and realizing that he is not part of any of them. 
This talented English actor would be forgiven if he were to wonder why no one has taken a page out of the Robert Downey Jr. playbook and requested that Hollywood give him a 'break' just as he the Oscar nominated actor did for Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen after his conduct led to him being replaced on the hit television series "Two and a Half Men".
On July 1 the new "Magic Mike XXL" film will hit the theatre and fans are already in a state of high anticipation. Unfortunately for the actor, he is not part of the movie because of his well-publicized clashes with Hollywood superstar and director of the film, Channing Tatum.
One could surmise that the talented actor never thought that this battle of egos would have such an impact on his career, especially considering his reputation as one of the more talented actors in Hollywood but the summer movie season will soon be starting and there has been no mention of Alex Pettyfer for any lead roles in movies.
His situation shows that even superb acting talent cannot overcome clashing with a director or writer in today's Hollywood.

This is a situation which could make any actor frustrated to the point of wanting to explode into multiple temper tantrums and likely is serving as a reminder for many agents to their clients about the consequences of following the lead of Alex Pettyfer and engaging in constant battles with the director and writer of a film.
