The ever popular name of actress Daryl Hannah still evokes visions of a lovely mermaid, as she is quite well known for her starring role along with Tom Hanks in the hit film Splash (1984). She has a wonderful history of entertaining viewers, which is fun to look back on, however; Daryl has far too much going on recently to focus upon past glories as she is still smoking and on fire, delivering quality entertainment.
Daryl Hannah career has been going for decades
Daryl co-stars with Brooke Shields and Wanda Sykes in The Hot Flashes (2013) as a group of unappreciated middle-aged Texas women, all former high school champs, challenge the current arrogant high school girls' state champs to a series of basketball games, an indicator of their middle age crises. She also co-stars with Kirsten Prout and Chloe Bridges in Social Nightmare (2013) about a student whose chances of getting into a good college become uncertain because of inappropriate photos of her which are posted on the Internet.
Hannah also co-stars with Anthony Michael Hall in the TV movie Zombie Night (2013), about two families who must survive through the night when zombies attack during the evening hours. It's nice to see that she is still churning out the films, but wait, there's more for Daryl Hannah on the horizon. She's set to appear in several more films in the next few years.

Her upcoming films include Undateable John (2014) in post-production; Skin Traffic (2014) also in post-production and Daryl is rumored to be playing the role in the film Diamond in the Dust (2015) which is in the pre-production phase.
