Dave Grohl may be best known for being the drummer of grunge band Nirvana and the founder and lead vocalist/guitarist of Foo Fighters. The 44-year old musical icon has an impressive list of accomplishments under his belt, including being a film director, and an estimated net worth of $225 million. So what does the punk-inspired musical icon do in his down time? Apparently he plays dead country-rock singers on Yahoo web shows.

Grohl, Jack Black and Val Kilmer team up to form the dead country-rock band, Sweetriver and the Huckleberry Dogs on Yahoo’s web show, “Ghost Ghirls.” The show is a paranormal comedy featuring two awkward and fairly ditzy female paranormal investigators. In “Spirits of ’76: Part Two,” members of the band Sweetriver and the Huckleberry Dogs are unable to cross over to - where ever it is they’re supposed to go – until they can record their final unfinished song.
Black and Kilmer argue incessantly, with Dave Grohl looking on uninterestedly, until they are counseled by the Ghost Ghirls. While the Kilmer and Black work through their differences, Grohl realizes that he will not be having any groupie sex with one of the girls.

They are finally able to cross into the country-rock afterlife in their flying tour-van when they finish their last song, “Back to the Beginning.” The show can be seen on Yahoo! Screen, and the song is available on iTunes.
