Demi Lovato was recently interviewed by MTV and she opened up about her friendship with Selena Gomez in addition to admitting that she wanted to become a mom in five years.

During her Live From MTV Special, Lovato spoke about her long friendship with Gomez, revealing, "We've been through a lot together. We've had periods of time where we grew apart and we just didn't really talk. But now we're in a place where I think we realized that life is so short, and that when you have people in your life that love you so much, then you should just always be around them. Everything about her -- she has a great soul, she's talented, she's beautiful, and she will always be really, really close to my heart."
Lovato also reveals her desire to become a mom within the next five years, saying, "I hope I'm a mom in five years. I've been working since I was 8 years old...at the end of the day, yes, I want to be a musician and I have a lot of goals, but my biggest goal in life is having a family."

She does admit that she will be working harder than ever until then, and that she won't let any momentum in her career pass her by. Lovato's latest song was 'Heart Attack', which released as a single from her studio album.
