When it was announced that Disney had decided to not only bring us a new Star Wars trilogy, but were also going to bring us a string of other Star Wars spinoff movies, it did not take long for the fans around the world to start calling for the movies they would love to see. One of the most wanted Star Wars spinoff films has always been a Han Solo origins movie, which is exactly what we are going to get in the very near future.

While we are going to see Alden Ehrenreich taking on the role of a young Han Solo in the movie, we are also going to get to see the very talented Donald Glover taking on the role of a young Lando Calrissian. Now, Donald has been talking about getting to take on the role of such an iconic character, admitting that, while he is very excited about being a part of the project, he is also a little bit nervous about it too.
Glover explained, "Lando’s a big deal to me. It was literally the first toy I ever got. When you have something that’s kind of iconic ... where people pay attention to it, it’s hard because you want to live up to the expectation. But all you can do is live up to your own. And Star Wars is really high. I really just want to have fun. The directors, they’re amazing. I love the guy who is playing Han. It’s going to be a good time. It’s going to be fun. I’m getting ready to just have fun with those guys."

The untitled Han Solo Star Wars anthology movie is going to be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, with the project aiming for a May 25, 2018 release date.
