Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson covers the latest issue of Essence Magazine, after coming off a very successful early 2013 with three successful hits. He managed to make GI Joe: Retaliation an international hit, and audiences flocked to go see Fast and the Furious 6 a hit. While Pain and Gain didn't do as well as those other two, it still performed well. It's small wonder that he's known as the franchise saver, but his personal life hasn't been thriving as much as his film career has.

In the Essence interview, Dwayne opened up about his divorce, saying, "I want to be a man who is truthful and who won’t let pride get in the way of my ripping myself open to my partner and saying, ‘Here I am. This is me.’ I feel there’s something powerful when a man reaches a point in his life when he can be completely vulnerable.”
He also discusses what he looks for in a woman, explaining, "I want someone who can trust that my big hands are going to take care of them.”
