It is often nice to hear from the stars what they have coming and what they have been up to, so it was lovely to hear from two British actresses about their upcoming projects. Izzy Meikle-Small spoke about her upcoming TV movie and how she would love to do comedy in the future, while Eleanor Tomlinson spoke about her upcoming Starz series The White Queen.

Izzy Meikle-Small wants to do comedy
Izzy Meikle-Small explained, "Well a few days ago I wrapped on The 7.39 with Olivia Colman, Sheridan Smith and David Morrissey, so that's exciting. I'd like to do some comedy, I haven't done comedy before and I love comedy and I think it's great. I'd like to do something with an American accent too."
Eleanor Tomlinson added, "It's a TV series by BBC and Starz in America and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a period in history that hasn't been covered that much, it's pre-Tudor and we've done Tudor to death so it'll be nice to see what came before that. It's also told from the women's point of view, so there aren't really many battles. It's all kind of fought in the courtroom and it's fantastic."

Eleanor Tomlinson starred in Jack the Giant Slayer
As well as Eleanor Tomlinson, The White Queen also stars Ben Lamb, David Oakes and Caroline Goodall, plus many more accomplished stars. The White Queen will premiere on Starz on August 10.
