Elizabeth Berkley is an actress who started as a child. She starred in some of America's most beloved classic television shows such as Silver Spoons and Gimme Break. She was most known for her role as Jesse Spano in the popular teen comedy television show Saved by the Bell. She played Mario Lopez's love interest in the show from 1989 to 1993.

After 1993 Elizabeth didn't much more than small television roles. In 1994 she reprised her role as Jesse Spano in Saved by the Bell the movie. It was until a year later that Elizabeth Berkley made it on to the big screen. The teen Saved by the Bell nerd shocked America by starring in the highly anticipated Showgirls. As highly anticipated as it was the critics bashed it until you couldn't say Showgirls without getting the stink eye from others. It is still noted as one of the worse movies ever.
After the Showgirls bomb or dud, She continually took small roles. You see her in the First Wives Club, NYPD Blue, CSI. She did a made for TV film for Lifetime called Student Seduction. Unfortunately, Berkley never could land any other leading big screen roles. She dropped off the scene for a while again.

During this particular hiatus Berkely met Greg Lauren and they were married in 2003. Greg is the brother of popular clothing designer Ralph Lauren. They seem to have lived a quiet low-key life. Around 2008 she started popping in television shows like in CSI Miami and the L Word with recurring roles.
So where is Elizabeth Berkley now? Her and husband Greg Lauren said hello to their baby boy in July of 2012. She has been very busy playing mommy to her son Cole. Apparently you can parent after starring in Showgirls!
