When you sign on to play a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you pretty much always have to sign a multi-movie deal, which will see you spending a lot of time as that character, restricting what new movie projects you can take on. It is nice then, to see a couple of the top Marvel movie stars preparing to continue working together, this time on a new film.
Actor Jeremy Renner has been playing the role of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for many years now, appearing in three movies so far, while he will next be seen in Captain America: Civil War. Meanwhile, actress Elizabeth Olsen made her Marvel movie debut as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlett Witch in the film Avengers: Age of Ultron, while she too will appear in the new Captain America movie.
Well, while the two are now between filming Marvel movies, it looks like they have decided to team up once again, this time for the new film Wind River, which is set to begin shooting in a few days time. The new movie will be set on a Native American reservation, with shooting set to take place in Park City very soon.
While we will get to see Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner starring in the movie, the screenplay for Wind River has been written by Taylor Sheridan, who will also direct the project. There is no release date for Wind River, as of yet, but we will keep you updated with the progress of the project.
