There are a lot of interesting movies that are being released over the course of the coming year and beyond and one of those movies, that we are most looking forward to seeing, is the upcoming film Maleficent, which stars Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning. With just a few more months until the movie hits the big screen, the new Maleficent movie trailer has been released.
Angelina Jolie is Maleficent
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the movie Maleficent, it is based on the classic Sleeping Beauty tale but instead of focussing on the Princess, it gives us a different take on the story. This time around, the story is told from the view point of the tales villain Maleficent. The film centres on the events in her life, which led to her becoming so evil and casting the curse on the young Aurora.
As well as starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning, the solid Maleficent supporting cast also stars Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. Maleficent has been directed by Robert Stromberg, based on the screenplay developed by Paul Dini, Linda Woolverton and John Lee Hancock, based on the classic Sleeping Beauty tale.
