Whenever it is announced that a top model has decided to make the move into the acting industry, there is always a feeling that many of them are given preferential treatment and are simply handed roles which real, hard working actress would have to fight hard for. So, when it was revealed that stunning supermodel Emily Ratajkowski was making the move back into acting, it was expected that she would be pretty much the same.

However, while Emily Ratajkowski has not exactly set Hollywood alight with her acting performances, she has signed up to a number of very interesting movies, making it clear that she has certain projects that she is looking to get involved in and is not just taking the easy acting work. Emily has now opened up about her acting career, insisting that she is still having to work very hard just to get taken seriously as an actress.
Ratajkowski appears on the cover of the latest issue of Marie Claire and, in the accompanying interview, she explains, "I am way more interested in working with unexpected and cool directors on interesting projects than being in this big studio movie where you're in a bikini. I turn down a lot of movies, but I have to fight for the ones that I really want."

Emily Ratajkowski has two new movies coming our way in the near future, starring alongside Natalie Dormer in the new movie In Darkness, which is currently awaiting an official release date, while she will also play the female lead in the new film Cruise, which is also waiting to get a release date. We hope that one of these movies can really show what a talented actress Emily truly is.
