Even way before the days that she actually became a huge household name on a global scale, stunning supermodel Emily Ratajkowski was already taking off her clothes, flashing the flesh and showing off her body for all to see, which is something that she has become very well-known for now, and is something that really did help to boost her profile around the world.

Emily Ratajkowski went from being a relatively unknown model, to becoming one of the most talked about people on the face of the planet, following her nude appearance in the music video for the hit single Blurred Lines. Since then, there has been no stopping Emily, as she has not only gone on to become a top star on the modelling scene but she is also working hard in Hollywood.
With that said, there have been plenty of people who have been quick to criticise Emily Ratajkowski, claiming that she is doing nothing to help the empowerment of women, by constantly taking off her clothes and showing off her body. However, Emily recently did a shoot with Love magazine and, in an accompanying interview, she shared just why sexy shoots are actually empowering for women.

Ratajkowski shared, "To me, female sexuality and sexiness, no matter how conditioned it may be by a patriarchal ideal, can be incredibly empowering for a woman if she feels it is empowering to her. The way I dress, act, flirt, dance, have sex - those are my decisions and they shouldn't be impacted by men. Being sexy is fun and I like it. I should never have to apologize for that. My life is on my terms and if I feel like putting on sexy underwear, it’s for me. Personal choice is the core ideal in my concept of feminism."
We are sure there are many feminists around the world who would beg to differ with the views of Emily Ratajkowski but we believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion and if that is what she believes, then who are they to judge.
