Hollywood actress Emma Stone has enjoyed quite the rise in the acting industry during the course of her career, becoming one of the most sought after actress in the business. Emma will next appear on the big screen in the upcoming new movie La La Land and the stunning star has been talking about the movie, heaping plenty of praise on director Damien Chazelle.

Stone explained, "It was the ambition. What he was going for was really exciting and enticing, because I love the originality of it and what it was paying homage to. It was really cool and interesting to be a part of, and equally scary, because if the tone wasn't cohesive from the smaller scenes into these big Cinemascope musical numbers, I didn't know how it would turn out."
She added, "But that's also the most exciting thing: equal parts 'Who knows?' and 'Let's do it!' I thought the dancing was going to be a challenge," she says. "But that ended up being just pure fun! And Damien took the pressure off of us in a way that if we flubbed a bit or if we weren't at the level of Gene Kelly, it wasn't going to be a deal breaker."

As well as starring Emma Stone, La La Land also features plenty of other top Hollywood talent, including the likes of Ryan Gosling, Callie Hernandez, J.K. Simmons, Sonoya Mizuno, and Finn Wittrock, among others. Meanwhile, as well as directing the movie, Damien Chazelle also penned the screenplay for La La Land, which is set to hit the big screen on December 16 in the US, before opening in the UK on January 13, 2017.
