It was recently claimed that The Amazing Spider-Man actress Emma Stone was planning to make her Broadway debut in the revival of the hit production Cabaret. However, it now seems that the Hollywood star has had a change of heart and has decided to pull out of the project.

Emma was set to take on the role of Sally Bowles, which was previously played by the late Natasha Richardson, with Alan Cumming returning to play the role of the M.C. Emma was still linked to Cabaret earlier this week but, for reasons unknown, she has left the production.
Meanwhile, Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes is the man planning the stage revival of Cabaret, with Rob Marshall on board to co-direct and choreograph the show. Cabaret previously ran from 1998-2004, with both Alan Cumming and Natasha Richardson winning Tony Awards for their performances.
