There have been so many impressive television shows over the years, that manage to last for many years, before deciding to call time on the series for good. Once this happens though, the fans of the show waste no time in calling for a movie to get made and, as time passes, they then begin to call for a reunion to happen, with many shows giving the fans what they want.

Eva Longoria is a beautiful actress
The hit series Desperate Housewives ran for eight seasons, before bringing the show to an end in 2012. Since then, many people have called for a Desperate Housewives movie or a Desperate Housewives sequel, which both look unlikely. Actress Eva Longoria played the role of Gabriella in the show and Eva has admitted that she cannot see a Desperate Housewives reunion happening any time soon.
Longoria explained, "We get asked this all the time and our creator Marc Cherry always says 'no'. He's still exhausted, we're all still exhausted. Our seasons ran for 24 episodes, we fully mined all the characters. I can't have one more affair, one more character can't die. We've done it all. Other shows which went on to make movies, like 'Sex And The City', made only 10 shows a season so it's completely different."

A Desperate Housewives reunion is unlikely
As far as her acting career is concerned, Eva Longoria has a number of new movie projects set to hit the big screen over the course of the next few years and the actress has claimed that she would love to emulate the career that George Clooney has had. Good luck with that Eva!
