With the 2015 Oscars just a few weeks away, we got we given the official list of Oscars 2015 nominees last week and there were some very interesting names on the list, which showed just how dominate the British stars have been in Hollywood of late. One of the British stars who has been nominated for an Oscar this year, is the beautiful and talented actress Felicity Jones, who has been enjoying quite the rise in Hollywood in recent years.
Felicity Jones has been nominated for the Oscar for the Best Actress in a Leading Role, for her performance in the very impressive movie The Theory of Everything, which sees her starring alongside fellow Brit, actor Eddie Redmayne. We have seen Felicity putting in some very impressive performances in a number of interesting projects of late and she is really beginning to get the recognition that her talent deserves.
With the category for the Best Actress in a Leading Role Oscar being a very competitive one, it would definitely be a huge boost to the career of Felicity Jones if she was to win it. We have no doubt that Felicity is going to go on and land some bigger and better roles in the coming years, no matter what, but if she won an Oscar this year then it would catapult her career further than she could ever have imagined.
It will not be easy for Felicity Jones though, as she is going up against Marion Cotillard for Two Days, One Night, Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl, Reese Witherspoon for Wild, and Julianne Moore for Still Alice. Which actress do you think should win the Best Actress Oscar?
The 87th Academy Awards is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2015 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
