So there have been a whole host of different names linked to roles in the planned Star Wars: Episode VII movie, ever since Disney announced that it was being made. While some of these rumours have excited fans, there have been those that have caused some concern for them. However, the weirdest of them all would have to be the latest rumour, claiming that British singer Florence Welch is set for a major role in Star Wars: Episode VII.
Florence Welch is linked to a Star Wars role
According to The Sun, an insider explained, "We think Florence has the exact style we're looking for. She has done some acting but it was her singing on stage that initially caught the eye."
The supposed source added, "Almost every actress in Hollywood wants a role in the new movies but we are keen to cast people who are unexpected. Florence is being considered for a major part that would turn her into an A-list actress overnight."
Mara Jade Skywalker
This has led to people suggesting that Florence Welch could be in line to play the role of Mara Jade Skywalker. There are plenty of proven Hollywood stars capable of taking on the role of Mara Jade Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode VII, including Julianne Moore, Jodie Foster or Christina Hendricks.
