When it was first announced that DC were pushing forward with their extended universe and that we were going to get to see Wonder Woman appearing on the big screen, millions of fans around the world were very excited about the prospect of seeing one of their favourite comic book characters in a massive movie. However, things did not exactly go the fans way when it came to the casting of the role.
The fans spent weeks and months discussing which actress they felt would be perfect for the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman, but on none of these many lists was the name Gal Gadot. It is no real surprise then, that the fans were very disappointed when it was announced that the Fast and Furious actress had been cast in the iconic role.
Since then, Gal Gadot has been working hard to win the fans over and, in all fairness to the actress, many of them have been coming around, slowly but surely. Many fans felt that Wonder Woman was actually the best thing about the DC movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has made them even more excited for the Wonder Woman solo movie.
We have already seen plenty of promotional material for the Wonder Woman movie and now we have a new trailer for the film, which will hopefully win round even more of the doubters, as it is pretty impressive. We are quite pleased with what we have seen from Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman so far and we cannot wait to see the movie, when it finally hits the big screen on June 2, 2017.
