Season three of Game Of Thrones is hotting up after filming for the popular fantasy series begins in sunny Croatia.
The hugely expensive production has different filming locations over the world to fill in for the fictional land of Westeros, including Ireland and Iceland. However, the show is now is now filming in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik, which doubles up as King's Landing - the capital of the Seven Kingdoms.
If the sunny climate doesn't prove enough to get fans hot under the collar, actress Lena Headey will certainly set temperatures racing showing off her figure in a burgundy gown which nipped her in at the waist thanks to a corset.
Actors including Aidan Gillen and Peter Dinklage were seen battling the searing heat as they began shooting in the county.
The group must have turned heads as they walked through Dubrovnik in their period costumes as they headed to set. Peter Dinklage plays the roguish Tyrion Lannister in the series, and he was seen on set sporting the large scar his character acquired after a huge battle scene near the end of season two.
Former pop star Jerome Flynn plays Bron in the series, and he was spotted in full costume relaxing on set with another actor.
Expectations are certainly high for the third series of Game of Thrones, which is based on the best-selling book series by George R.R. Martin. And actor Richard Madden, who plays Robb Stark, has hardly tempered that expectations after recently exclaiming: '(It) makes season one and two like a warmup. Every episode is like a finale episode.'
The third season of Game Of Thrones will air next March. We can't wait, can you?
