When it was revealed that a number of the original cast members, from the X-Men trilogy movies, were returning to appear in X-Men: Days of Future Past, there was one name that seemed to be missing from the list. It was confirmed that the likes of Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, Hugh Jackman and Ellen Page would all be returning, but no mention of Halle Berry.
This led to many suggesting that we may not get to see Halle Berry reprising her role as Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past and director Bryan Singer was being a little cagey about it. However, Halle has now confirmed that she will indeed be returning for the movie.
Berry was chatting to Black Tree TV, when she explained, "Yeah. I'm excited too. The fans really love Storm, and so I'm really happy that it's worked out that way. No matter what my part will be or won't be, to be a part of that is always a good thing. I love it."
As well as the return of some of the familiar faces from the original X-Men trilogy, we will also see the return of the majority of the cast from X-Men: First Class, including James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Fassbender. X-Men: Days of Future Past is out on July 18, 2014.
