It has been reported that footballs favourite man Harry Redknapp could be set to replace Giovanni Trapattoni as the head coach of Republic of Ireland. Trapattoni has not yet been removed from the post but his position becomes increasingly precarious.

Despite last night’s 4-1 victory over Faroe Island, Giovanni could find himself being shown the exit, especially since Harry Redknapp has declared an interest in the job. Many were calling for Trapattoni’s head after the awful displays of Euro 2012 and again after the 6-1 hammering by Germany.
Now, people close to Harry have claimed that he is serious about wanting the Republic job, “He’s genuinely intrigued at the possibility of managing Ireland. He’s enjoying his time away from the game, but he does want to get back to work,” said one insider.

While it appears that everybody is against Giovanni Trapattoni and want to see him gone, he does have at least one allie in Liam Brady, who said, “This guy knows what he’s doing. We’re on track to qualify... We’ll look ridiculous to the rest of the football world if we sack this man.”
Do you think Republic of Ireland should sack Giovanni Trapattoni and replace him with Harry Redknapp?
