Harry Styles raised eyebrows when it was rumored that he was recording singles in a studio lot in Los Angeles last week. It was said that Harry was planning to go solo eventually, and those tracks would help him when he did. However, Harry's rep has denied these rumors, saying that he definitely is not planning on leaving One Direction any time soon.

The rep for One Direction told E! News the rumors have 'no truth' to them. The rep added that the rumors of Harry in a recording story were true, explaining, "The boys are all working on the new 1D album together, and sometimes sessions are recorded separately.”
Most of the rumors of Harry going solo originated from the Mirror, which claimed that sources close to him had said that he was 'messing around' with his own music. Their 'sources' also added that Harry was bouncing ideas off of good friend Ed Sheeran, and that he was planning for his future solo career.
One Direction is still going strong
Now, Harry's priority is clearly still One Direction, but there's no doubt that the boys won't be together forever. When the inevitable split does happen, it remains to be seen who ends up having the most successful career.
