Amber Heard recently got married to Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp, an event that some entertainment observers expected would be followed by a fun-filled luxurious honeymoon. However, instead of going on a honeymoon that is so well deserved in the view of many of her fans who have been anxiously awaiting for this marriage, the new bride delayed her Bahamas honeymoon plans so that she could get prepared for her feature role in the film "The Danish Girl" with Oscar award winner Eddie Redmayne (Daily Mail - March 30).

A young bride delaying her honeymoon to get ready for an acting role is understandable but an actress who some would look at as a Hollywood star already and not one who has to worry about the bills being paid now that she is married to one of the richest actors in the entertainment industry suggests that this individual is extremely motivated to distinguish herself as an actress on her own merits and not be viewed as the wife of Johnny Depp.
Not only did she 'delay' the honeymoon but according to some sources there have been times in which she has worked out up to five hours a day at the Pineapple Dance Studios in London, England to develop the "physique of a muscular ballet dancer" (Daily Mail - March 30).

For the past several months the majority of the news about Amber Heard has revolved around whether or not she would get married to Johnny Depp and now it seems that she wants to change the focus of the conversation to her acting and prove that she should always be one of the first actresses considered for the more substantial acting roles.
Her work ethic and focus on being spectacular in the role of Oola, a ballet dancer has some entertainment observers thinking that marriage might have 'stoked' the competitive juices within Amber Heard and could represent a new and more focused actress.
In 2015 she will be seen in feature roles in six big screen projects but following the release of "The Danish Girl" she has no projects other than her honeymoon scheduled. Some insiders think that this talented and very intelligent actress might be laying the groundwork with some superior performances for future roles just in case she decides to take some time off to work on expanding her new family with Johnny Depp.
