Well the first two episodes of the seventh season of How I Met Your Mother have finally aired and it seems that all the fun of seasons past has gone. The best part of How I Met Your Mother has always been Barney and his hilarious womanising ways.
However, the writers seem to have wanted to show some sort of character growth within Barney and the funny character that we have all grown to love, is now just boring. Pretty much like the rest of the characters in the show, especially Ted, who to be fair has always been a bit dull.
Yet he has managed to get duller. I think the writers made it pretty obvious that they wanted the audience to know that Ted believes in destiny, as he said the word on numerous occasions. It is difficult to see how they are going to improve on this but they certainly need to. How I Met Your Mother is fast becoming another of those shows that has gone on for too long and should have ended a season or two ago. Arriba!!
